Working on Amica Mea Candles was an absolute delight.

We started off small, with just a few pages. Rather than investing in a full e-commerce shop, which can be quite costly for a start-up, I suggested showcasing the products and prices on a simple ‘Products’ page.

I then integrated the website with WhatsApp so customers could place orders directly through the app. This is a brilliant option for new businesses working with a tighter budget. As the business grew and orders started coming in, the client reached out to me again to integrate WooCommerce. Now, the website has a full on line shop, allowing customers to place orders, pay by card, and calculate delivery costs. We kept the WhatsApp integration but shifted the call to action so customers can use it to ask any questions they might have.

I also added Mailchimp integration, so my client can start building her customer base through email marketing. I’ve even placed a few orders myself1 The candles smell amazing and always bring a warm, cosy feeling to my home.
