LOGO DESIGN | BRANDING | WEBSITE DESIGN

For Cape Tax Compliance, I had the wonderful opportunity to redesign both their logo and website.

To start, I focused on revamping their logo. I researched competitors, colours, fonts, and general design trends. The client requested a ‘blue’ logo, but I added two shades of green to bring a fresh and vibrant touch. I also chose a unique, lowercase font to create a lasting impression with a welcoming feel. This was paired with an uppercase sans-serif font in dark blue for a strong contrast.

The result? A fresh, distinctive, and timeless logo that stands out and leaves a memorable impression.

As for the website, I used the new logo as a super-graphic on the landing page to strengthen the branding. The bright green worked perfectly for call-to-action buttons, while the darker green was used for hover states, adding a touch of sophistication.

The client provided the copy, and as always, I aimed to create a layout that makes the information easy to digest. I achieved this by incorporating icons, colours, and imagery.

For the navigation, I opted for a pop-up menu instead of a traditional one. This will allow room for expansion as the client’s business grows, offering flexibility for future updates.

To reduce spam, I implemented reCAPTCHA on the contact form, and I also linked the site to Google. As with all the websites I design, I set up Google Analytics to track performance.

I thoroughly enjoyed the creative process and collaborating with the client to bring their brand to life!
